I have started doing a Pokemon of the Day starting from 2011 New Year's Day!

Today's 1st Pokémon of the day is Dragonite!!!

Dragonite is a very shy marine Pokémon and Evolves from Dragonair at LV55.
Dragonite can be tutored the powerful move Draco Meteor that does a critical 140 damage!
Many trainers own Dragonite in Pokémon Heartgold and Soulsilver: Palmer, Lance, Clair and of course ME! lol
Here is my favourite, Dragonite!

My next Pokemon of the day is Shaymin!

Shaymin is the gratitude Pokemon that lives in flowery meadows.
If it comes into contact with gracidea flowers it changes into it's SkyForme.
It's most powerful and exclusive move is SeedFlare.
In the games, Shaymin can only be obtained by the event.

The next Pokemon of the day is Togepi!!!

Togepi is the spike ball Pokemon and evolves into Togetic through happiness.
A proverb claims that happiness come to anyone who can make a sleeping Togepi stand up.
In Pt and HGSS you get handed a Togepi egg from either Cynthia or Professor Elm.

Our next Pokemon of the day is Celebi!

Celebi is the time-travel Pokemon that has stared in many movies.
It is a GRASS-PSYCHIC type and #251 in the national PokeDex.
The Celebi event is available in America (they are sooo lucky).
When Celebi is in HGSS, you can travel to Ilex forest and Celebi will take you back in time!

Today's Pokemon of the day is Manaphy!

Manaphy is a shy WATER type Pokemon that lives in the deep ocean.
In DPPt and HGSS A Manaphy egg can be obtained by transferring from Pokemon Ranger 2 or 3.
It can be put into the DAY-CARE with a DITTO and have an egg, which will hatch into PHIONE.
Manaphy is also known as the Prince if the sea.

The 6th Pokemon of the Day is Pikachu!

Pikachu is by far the most famous Pokemon ever.
It is the Electric Mouse Pokemon and #25 in the Pokedex.
Pikachu evolves from \pichu though happiness and evolves into Raichu by using a Thundersone.
Pikachu do not like to stay inside Pokeballs, like Ash's Pikachu.
As it levels up is can learn a brilliant move called VoltTackle.

The 7th Pokemon of the day is Wigglytuff!

Wigglytuff is the balloon Pokemon and was invented in the 1st generation.
It is the guildmaster in PMD (Explorers of Sky) and creates your own exploration team.
It evolves from Jigglypuff through a Moon Stone.
When it gets frustrated it can blow up into a balloon and whack the foe with Giga Impact.

Kricketot is a Bug type Pokemon that evolves into Kricketune.
It can make jingly noises that can be heard from far away.
It is a Sinnoh Pokemon that is favored by many trainers.
It has been included in many RPG and Spin-off games.

Chansey is a Normal type Pokemon that works in the Pokemon Center.
It kindy helps Nurse Joy to look after unwell Pokemon.
It walks carefully to protect it's egg, but it is very quick at running away.
It is a very rare Generation 1 Pokemon that evolves into Blissey.

Jirachi is the Wish Pokemon and is Steel-Psychic type.
It grants wishes to all people or Pokemon who meet it.
The only way you can get it in DPPtHGSS is through the event that has just ended.
It is a legendary Pokemon from the 3rd Generation.

Today's Pokemon of the day is Ampharos!

Ampharos is the Light Pokemon it is an Electric Type.
It's tip of it's tails shines extremely brightly, the reason it lights up the lighthouse in Olivine city.
In the games, Ampharos can only be obtained by evolving Flaffy.

Hi, PokemonFans! Today's Pokemon of the day is Latias!

Latias is the EON Pokemon that is a Dragon-Psychic type.
It is a legendary Pokemon that was first introduced in the 3rd generation.
The only way to get Latias in SS (Not HG) is through the event, Latias appears in Pewter City, near the museum when you get the ENIGMA STONE.

Togetic is the Happiness Pokemon that is a Normal-type.
Togetic evolves from Togepi through happiness and evolves into Togekiss by using a Shiny Stone.

It evolves into Donphan at Lv25 and is a 2nd Generation Pokemon from Johto.
Phanpy is only small, but don't under-estimate it's strength! Because it can lift a human, just with it's trunk!

It's the 20th Pokemon of the Day already! And it is Mudkip!

Mudkip is the Mud-Fish Pokemon that is a Water type.
It was introduced in the 3rd generation and was the Water-Type starter in RS and Em.
It evolves into Marshtomp at Lv16 and into Swampert at Lv36.
It is also available in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, after obtaining all sixteen badges and defeating Red.

Today's Pokemon of the Day is Dratini!

Dratini is the Dragon Pokemon and is obviously a Dragon-Type!
Dratini evolves into Dragonair at Lv30 and into my favourite Pokemon Dragonite at Lv55.
It is very hard to evolve and obtain in all Pokemon games.

Today's Pokemon of the day is very special and is only available in 1 Pokemon Game!
It is Ukulele Pichu!

Uke Pichu is the 1st Pokemon you capture in Pokemon Ranger 3!
It follows you around all over Oblivia but can't go with you when you go into the past or go underwater.
It has a very handy Poke-Assist that can be upgraded throughout the game.
It starts off by playing quietly, with music notes flying at the target Pokemon, then gets louder and louder, (near the end of the game) and finally lets off a huge Thunderbolt, that Paralyzes the target Pokemon!

Today's Pokemon of the Day is Igglybuff!

Igglybuff is the Balloon Pokemon that is a Normal type.
It evolves into Jigglypuff via happiness, which evolves into Wigglytuff when exposed to a Moon Stone.
Igglybuff can be obtained in quite a lot of games, like Mystery Dungeon Sky! (With the special mission 'Igglybuff the Prodigy').

Today's Pokemon of the day is Jumpluff!

Jumpluff is the Cottonweed Pokemon that is a Grass-Flying type.
Jumpluff is the final evolution of Hoppip, which evolves into Skiploom at Lv18 and then evolves into Jumpluff at Lv27.
In the TCG cards, Jumpluff is a very powerful Pokemon, for example in HS base set, Mass Attack reads 'Does 10 damage times the number of Pokemon in play (both yours and your opponent's)' which only needs 1 Grass Energy for a critical 120 damage!!!!!

Today's Pokemon of the Day is Legendary Mew!

Mew is the New Species Pokemon and is a Psychic Type.
Mew is a Legendary Pokemon that has starred in many movies.
In the games Mew is only available as a Wi-Fi event.
Scientists used it's fur to clone a Pokemon much more powerful than itself, MEWTWO.
It is a very rare Pokemon and can learn every TM and HM.
