PostSubject: Pokemon of the Week!!! (February and March 2011!)   Tue Feb 01, 2011 9:56 am

1/2/2011 - 6/2/2011

This topic is carrying on from the last POTD. But it has now changed to Pokemon of the Week, so I can put more in-depth info on it!
This month's theme is POWER!

And the first one is the ultimate and most powerful Pokemon, Arceus!!!!

Arceus is the ALPHA Pokemon that changes type depending on the plate it is holding, because of it's ability, Multitype.
In the games, Arceus can only be obtained via the event in DPPtHGSS.
Arceus is by far the strongest Pokemon with a stat total of a whopping 720!
It has starred in Pokemon the Movie : Arceus and the Jewel of Life!, Where Arceus gets enraged because of it's betrayal.
Here is Arceus and it's type formes!

This Week's POTW is Mewtwo!

Mewtwo is the Genetic Pokemon and is a Psychic type.
It is a Legendary Pokemon and has been the star of the first few movies.
Mewtwo was created by scientists who cloned Mew using it's fur, but made Mewtwo much more powerful than Mew.
It can be found in LG, FR and HGSS in Cerulean Cave in Kanto!
Mewtwo is the second most powerful Pokemon, that has a stat total of 680!
Here is Mewtwo, in the game and in the Anime!!!!

The 3rd Pokemon of the week is so cool that it has been POTW/POTD twice!!!!! It must be Lugia!

Lugia is the Diving Pokemon and is a Psychic-Flying type.
It is joint-second with Mewtwo for being the 2nd most powerful Pokemon, also with a base stat total of 680!
Lugia is the star of Pokemon The Movie: 2000: The Power of One!, and Pokemon Game SS.
Lugia is so powerful that it spends most of it's time under the sea, to avoid wrecking havoc.
In SS you can find Lugia in the Whirl Islands, when you have the Lunar Wing.
Here is Lugia, from the game and from the Anime!!!!!!!

14/3/2011 - 20/3/2011

This week's POTW is Palkia!

Palkia is the Spatial Pokemon and is a Water-Dragon type.
Palkia is the ruler of space and is the cover Pokemon for Pokemon Pearl.
It was one of the mail Pokemon in Arceus and the Jewel of life, and was controlled by Cyrus in one of the episodes!
Palkia’s body is mainly a shade of light purple, although it has stripes and markings of a darker shade and a grayish-colored arm underside and waist. It has round purple-striped plates on its shoulder area, where two pink pearls lie encrusted with a gray rim encircling them and fins in their back. Palkia’s arms have somewhat gauntlet-like extended formations and a purple band of coloration at the wrist. Palkia has a long neck, a pointed white crest on the top of its head that extends to its wings, two strong horn-like tusks on the sides of its jaw, and a powerful tail.
Here it is!
Palkia and Dialga!

21/3/2011 - 27/3/2011

This week's POTW is Giratina!

Giratina is the Renegade Pokemon and is a Ghost-Dragon type.
It is the cover Pokemon for Pokemon Platinum and can be found in the Distortion World.
Giratina can change between two formes, Origin Forme and Altered Forme.
When it is in it's own world, it takes on it's Origin Forme, and when in our world, it takes on it's Altered Forme.
If you give Giratina a Grisieous Orb, it always stays in it's Origin Forme.
Giratina made its anime debut in Giratina and the Sky Warrior. In the movie, Giratina ambushes and drags Dialga into the Reverse World in order to exact revenge against the Temporal Pokémon for causing damage to it during its fight with Palkia some time before. Zero also attempts to copy Giratina's powers in order to take control over the Reverse World.
Here it is!
Origin Forme!

Altered Forme!

So this marks the end of Feb and Mar POTD!
